We need to buy two units for our new warehouse in Ajman and I have been getting quotes that range from around 700 AED all the way up to 2500 AED for what looks like the same thing on paper. The cheap ones are probably Chinese imports and the expensive ones claim German or Japanese pumps but honestly I cannot tell the difference just by looking at photos. Our usage is moderate, maybe 20 to 30 pallets a day, nothing crazy heavy, mostly cartons and small machine parts. Part of me wants to just buy the budget option and replace it if it dies, but the other part remembers how our last cheap trolley started leaking within eight months. Is the pump really the main thing that separates a good hydraulic hand pallet truck from a bad one, or is it the wheels and frame too? Also does warranty actually mean anything here in the UAE or is it one of those situations where they find a reason to blame you? Would love to hear from people who went budget and regretted it, or went expensive and felt it was overkill.
